The dreamy pop of one-woman band Lights got a big push in 2008 when it featured in a prominent Old Navy campaign. Her own organization, however, operates on a smaller scale: She writes and produces her colorful ditties with a computer, some synthesizers, and “whatever other sound makers I can get my pincers on” in her Toronto home. And Lights’ vibrant, ‘80s-influenced artwork? That’s all her, too.
